About Me

I received a PhD in Media and Communication from the University of Leicester, UK( 2016), a Masters (MA) degree in International Design & Communication Management from the University of Warwick, UK and a degree in Communication     ( Cum Laude) from Daystar University, Kenya. I am very passionate about the role of ICTs in the eventual prosperity of humanity. I intersect my passion for ICTs for social mobility and communicative environments of influence my work as a co-founder of the Tech Innovators Network (THiNK).

For many years I have wondered what could merge and contain my many interests. After a journey that has included winning the inaugural Stuart Hall Award in Montréal, Canada for my paper on the Politics of Representation and teaching at a University in my home country of Kenya and as a co-founder of the Tech Innovators Network (THiNK), I arrived at the newsletter as a unifying tool of communication, transformation and exploration without the stringent guidelines of empiricism that sometimes ignore valid yet powerful sources of knowledge and information.

I am deeply passionate about the arts and am currently experimenting with sketching and watercolour painting. I love sustainable regenerative agriculture and have been a farmer of herbs and organic produce.

It is my deepest desire for this page and any content I publish to change, transform and help everyone positively. My hobbies are running in Karura Forest, watching fashion shows, reading about diverse subjects and almost all artsy things.

I am a wife to my co-founder and techie husband, and we are parents to three young children.

This work is the labour of love and my keen to interest is to reach, transform and edify as many people as possible. Please support me to attain that goal using the link below
